I'm sorry but if you act like this while in uniform on the playing field, your gone and deserve to be gone.

Okay fine, but the year before they had two Oregon players who were arrested and charged with reckless driving and drag racing. They were racing another vehicle lost control of their car and hit a oncoming car. They missed one game and that was only because they were hurt from the accident.

Just have to accept that it happen in this day in age of college football, this hugely hyped up games (you can thank the media for that) these days you're always going to hear thrash talking before and after the game, but if you're the one doing it, you have to be prepared to take it.

That would have been smart. My father, who taught me how to play every sport I play, always told me that the real talking is done on the field. They held this Blount kid to -5 rushing...they said all they needed to say right there

Even if that wasnt enough the players could have used the post game interview to make any comment to blount that he wanted. That would be really hurting him because you are telling america.

I hear you with that, but with this game being hyped up so so much, lots of people wanting revenge, there was no way Boise State was going to let him walk off without talking smack to him. They probaly weren't thinking it at the time but they wouldn't have another chance to do so, since Blount is a senior.

Millions of people weren't watching it happen. It does matter.

I'm 50-50 on this one, I have not idea why they arn't suspened from acts like this, as nevergoingback said millions of people didn't see it, and thats so true.

You could bet if this game wasn't televised, Blount would not have been suspended for the whole season. The fact that cameras are make it a different matter.

Thats why I say garbage on the Pac-10 and University of Oregon. Just because he pucnhed a guy and it mkaes your univserty look bad doesn't mean that actions should be viewed as more serious than reckless driving, dui's etc. It's completely hypocritical to give a guy a full season suspension when players commit far worse crimes and get a game or nothing for it.

I;m just surprised he was so mad to punch someone after losing a game this early in the season.

No if this was a big loss late in the season I would understand his action a little more not to say it was the right thing to do but I would understand it.

If you had READ the post I was calling the Pac-10 and University of Oregon the hypocrites, thats why I said THEM, not YOU.

My original comment:

#33 LeGarrette Blount: POS.

"If I were the President of Oregon State University, Mr. Blount would be looking for another school to attend after Labor Day."

To which you responded by quoting my comment and adding:

#34 LeGarrette Blount: POS.

"While players who have DUI's and drug arrests continue to play. A bit hypocritical don't you think?"

So, if you will, please assist me in my reading challenged state by pointing out your reference to the hypocrisy of Oregon state? Or perhaps the problem isn't my reading, just your writing?
