Do you know of any areas that need Special Education teachers? Are there any grad schools with strong reputations when it comes to their education programs? I'm looking primarily in the UK or Australia.

European schools don't have special education programs like they do in the US so chances are you won't find anything or if you do it won't be a program that will allow you to get licensed in the US if that is what you are after.

I would first determine where you are ultimately looking to work then review the education and licensing requirements of that state (if in US) or the country and/or region (if outside of the US). As another poster stated, there may or may not be special education programs like we have here in the US. If they do offer those programs, the educational and licensing requirements would likely differ from the requirements here in the US. If you are pursuing your degree abroad and want to work in the US, the education you receive will likely not fulfill the credential or licensing requirements here in the states. First, determine WHERE you plan to work then look into programs that would actually meet those requirements.
