I am thinking about attending Graduate School for Sports Management. I have gone through the list of colleges that offer the degree, but I cannot seem to find any programs that start in the Spring semester. I cannot wait until the fall to start because of my current living situation.
The only college that I can find that offers a Spring start date is California State Long Beach and Florida State University. I do not want to attend California State because I feel like the cost of living is going to be way too high. I do not want to have to spend all of my money paying for an apartment. I would like to go somewhere that I can eventually buy a house, and that probably is not going to happen in Southern California. I will basically have to move as soon as I am done with the program because of the cost of living.
Does anyone know of any good programs that start in the spring that are in a more cost efficient area?
What are you looking to get into? Getting a job with a pro sports team is pretty competitive such that you'd probably have to be flexible in where you would get a job out of school. So if that's your goal then I'm not sure if you can plan on sticking somewhere for the long-term.
Also, I went to FSU for undergrad so can help you on that if you have further questions (well outside of the specifics of their sports management program).
