I'm thinking about obtaining my masters in Public Health..what is this degree usueful for? Has anybody obtained it? If so how do you like your line of work. I like healthcare and I want to get to the root of healthcare issues that Americans are facing. Is this a good reason to obtain this degree? Any feedback?

I know someone who had a pHd in it. She did epidemiology, AIDS studies, and got to travel to Africa. Pretty interesting stuff.
Its actually a very good degree to have. It usually involves management or a similar aspect of a particular wing of a hospital, managing budgets, and so on. Its also great because most starting salary's for the position are around 60k/yr.
