So, one of my relatives living in Ohio invited me to go university there. I accepted, she sent me an email yesterday with the link of that particular university I want to go and I am applying for that school, however, I am still not decided about what I want to study in the future.
I selected a few courses that I like.
What courses would you advise me to major (undergrad):
1.Biological sciences
2.Accountancy
3. Business economics
4. International Business
5.Business administration(ASSOCIATE OF SCIENCE) and
6. Psychology
please, I like them all but I am concerned about the future, employment and all that stuff.
I am from Durban in South Africa btw, my first language is Afrikaans and yeah, that's it.
I am very good at geography, world history, I like politics or anything related to it, I took Áfrican studies in secondary school, I also took economics. I speak very good Portuguese, spanish and Zulu. My favorite subjects are math and physics...does that help?
Have you been accepted at the college? I would suggest looking at the careers associated with the majors and see what you can see yourself doing after graduation. Your major should lead to a satisfying career. Good luck!

thanks in advance!
Business will always be in demand....You should be able to get a job shortly before or after graduation. Another thing is get a degree in a field that you would like to work in. Everyday at work should be fun.
Take your general education classes and wait a semester if you aren't sure. Those majors are all very different, try to narrow it down to what you'd enjoy doing in work
I would also recommend considering where you were planning on living after graduation. If you are planning to stay in Ohio, then look at the jobs you might like to do around there. If, however, you are planning on moving back to Durban, then you might want to consider what jobs are in demand there. Also, I agree with burgler on taking a semester or two of general ed first. Many classes, like basic writing and math, are needed in all majors, and you can take beginning classes in a bunch of different fields to get a feel for what you like.

I have not been accepted yet, I am actually filling the application at the moment.

I am planning to move back to Durban after graduation. Business would be a very good choice and I'd love it, but I am still not so sure.
Also, can someone explain to me (in details) what general ed. classes are? Is it mandatory to take them? And how is it going to help me.
Does anyone recommend me going to community college?
I know most of them are very cheap. How is the process of transfering all credits to a real college?
Forgive me for asking too many questions. This is quite serious so I am very curious.
