So what? I don't understand why many people believe that a writer has to agree with a certain subject in order to post about it on forums. Where did that idea come from? And if the person doesn't agree with X topic and says something negative about another person's opinion, he/she is branded the dreaded T word. The purpose of posting on a forum is to discuss it. One can talk about the pros and cons of any subject. After all, we wouldn't want posters to get on the true crime forum and celebrate the crimes that have occurred to victims just because the topic is crime. These forums are about discussion, not conformity.

But why does almost every thread on this forum have to be hijacked by someone saying "college graduates are burger-flippers"? Here is an example:
