One teacher told us to read an hour to get to a certain amount, and I was able to read in a half hour and get to the point he wanted us at and most students don't even do the hour and just do a half hour like me and are getting good grades.
So I am thinking, i have 3 classes for 11 weeks (on week 2), and would spending 30 minutes each time for hw I have class that day work?
I had a very good GPA coming from a community college with the semester system, and I could do 15-20min in a semester semester for hw readings per one class session. I am thinking in a quarter to just double that.
Of course, if I have a paper to write I would spend more time on that class other than the 30 minutes of reading.
My goal is to get an A in each class, but I really only care if I get a C or C+ so I can just graduate.
Thanks to anyone in college or out of college for advice.
There is not a magic formula. You need to read for as long as you need to read. If you can read for half an hour and get good grades, fine. If it takes you two hours, fine. Personally, if you read and study that little for a class, I have to doubt the academic rigor of your program. I've never been told to read until I get the point, but I have been told to read chapters 7-9 before the next class.
