Your child needs to become a registered nurse (4 year degree) and then they can specialize in forensic nursing. Your child can go to many schools for nursing and then she'll need to specialize. Boston college has a specialization program.

Fitchburg State College, Fitchburg, Mass. A beat-up town west of Boston, has a master's in Forensic Nursing. I thought it was the only such progrm in the state.

Add- Fitchburg is... a tad cheaper... than Boston College, as are most colleges of all kinds. BC is wildly expensive.

There is really no need to go to an expensive school to obtain an RN. Essentially, everyone takes the same standardized test. Better to get the regular RN degree on the cheap, and then later you can decide to attend a more expensive, or prestigous school when/if your son or daughter decides to specilize in a particular field of nursing, or persue a masters in a particular field of expertise.
