Rude professor's what? You haven't mentioned what you're talking about.

You interact with them as little as possible. Just do the assignments, study for the tests, and leave it at that, if you can.

Improving your spelling might make them more favorably disposed towards you, though.

The same way you handle rude, snotty, and uncaring people throughout your life that you have to interact with. You are in college to learn things, handling yourself with different types of people is one of those things

Is it just you this professor is rude to? If so, start by making sure your own demeanor doesn't come off as rude. If the prof is like that with everyone, then it's probably just his or her personality.

Just wondering, is it your English Composition professor that you're not getting along with?

OP... the professor is not there to be your "caring" friend. Deal with him for the semester.

Do you need a dictionary? What does rude mean? I guess kind of like your acting at this moment. (shrugs)

This is frightening. When I was a rude Professor 20 years ago, only the guys on full football scholarships would write like that. Now I teach ESL for the non-college ready, and even most of them wouldn't have written that sentence. I think I have to sympathize with the rude Professor's here.
