Hey Everyone,

I was hoping you could tell me your thoughts on this degree, apparently it is one of the only of its kind in the country. I have my undergrad in MIS from Widener, so that's why this caught my eye, as it is supposedly the next logical progression for their MIS grads.

I've been out of school for about seven years now and have been thinking that it might be time to go back for my Masters. My current company would also be footing the bill, so that is a plus.

Widener University | MS in Business Process Innovation

Thanks!

With the high cost of labor and especially benefits, companies are hiring or contracting for continuous process improvement help more and more. Here, we have a CPI person now, and a group of people from multiple divisions doing LEAN, based on the Japanese concept of Kaizen. Since it helps to have business experience as well as the education, it seems like a great time for you to pursue this.

Thanks for the insight. I agree, it does look like the need for BPI is increasing, which makes this attractive.
