You just seem to have a problem with someone going to college for both reasons.
I also vote "both" or "C" or "all of this above".

You don't have my reason for going to college on your poll and neither of those apply to me.
I went because I was bored at that time and wanted something to do besides nothing to do.
The only reason I went to college was to land a well-paying job in a specific field with my degree.
If it weren't for that, I would have had no interest in going to college. Anything else which college offered I could have obtained more efficiently by other means.
Once again, it looks like we have a failure to follow basic instructions.
The poll and question are just so poorly constructed that it's pretty much useless. It's not that others cannot follow instructions, it's that you didn't make it valid.
