Hi, as of right now I'm working as a veterinary assistant but I intend on going to school to become a certified vet tech. I've been looking at schools in Pennsylvania and came across Harcum college. I was wondering if anyone could give me a more personal insight and experience with this school. Also, if anyone has ever taken the Vet Technology program there?
Harcum is one of those specialized schools that offers two-year degree programs only I believe and has a fairly good reputation. You might also consider if moving away to school checking out the Associate's programs at the University of New Hampshire or Purdue University which have excellent reputations are traditional very well known four year schools. Purdue also has a distance learning program where you can continue working as a Veterinary Assistant while taking online coursework.
Thank you for the suggestions on those other two schools Kyle19125. They seem to be great schools. However, there are reasons of why I asked specifically on Harcum.
Does anyone know of a good college forums site where I might get more perspectives from people who went to or are currently attending this school?
