You only have to ask yourself one question. Would you want the UoP on your resume along with other college education. I think not for most. I had a friend who got her undergrad education from a private university in political science. She then went to the UoP for her master in business admin. It has never helped her one bit and most people think it's a joke to have on your resume.
I had a question about ethics and University of Phoenix. I purchased solutions from Mod cut - new posters cannot post links Is this considered cheating if only using the solutions as a reference guide?

I went to the University of Phoenix, for one of my masters degrees. It was tough, and my classes were not online. I had to do it this way, because the program I wanted was not offered at night at the local university where I lived, and I worked full time. The cost is horrendous though, even with tution assistance. Was it worth it...yes, I have the job I have now because of that degree. So, look at your own situation, and decide on what you want. But don't think that place is a diploma mill, the classes are hard.
I am considering going to UoP. My sister goes there and loves I on the other hand do a lot of research before making a commitment like that. After hereing the statements made here and on other blogs I think I will still give it a shot atleast for my associates degree I like the idea of online courses where I can work on my own time.Further more yes its WAY other priced but if you take into consideration that community colleges are charging you for books as well as classes it still comes out to be close in price. However I think Ill transfer to a university for my bs and ms. I hope Im not makeing a mistake but atleast I can say I did my research before I jump into something

Do you think you'll learn as much online as you would in a real classroom?

Seems like the CC should be much cheaper. You'll want to make sure those UoP credits are actually taken by a four year university.
Signed up for Medical Administration. A year and a half into it, I find out that they have me signed up for Business Administration. I told them that I wanted to transfer to another college. That they are HUGELY overpriced, and they need better staff. Now they say that I HAVE to finish or I will not be able to attend any other college without having to pay like $1000. I think they are trying to scare me into staying, not going to happen. a lawyer. He is reviewing my case now and will be getting back to me soon. He said that he will probably be accepting it as a breach of contract case.
I have lost a year and a half of my life to this school. Education that does not apply to my field.
Lets get together and put a stop to the wrongdoing of Phoenix school.
Thanks and have a great day, Bill

Reason: removed solicitation. This is not the place to get other people for a lawsuit
Be aware that I have found out Phoenix credits do not transfer to an accredited college
That is a false statement. How do I know? I know because my credits were accepted by several non-profit schools. I think University of Satan and the Apollo Group are pure evil, but it irritates me when people spread misinformation. UoP is regionally accredited and many regionally accredited schools will accept their credits. There is no guarantee that even credits from a regionally accredited non-profit will transfer to another regionally accredited non-profit. I can give you a list of several non-profits that will accept UoP credits if you want one.
