How far away was your college/uni from where you live?

My distance changed from 30 miles to 200 mi when my parents moved due to a job transfer. I thought 200 was just about right, though in the late 60s, the 30 mi. was a long-distance phone call so likely not to be done unless someone died.

Born and raised in California. Went to university in Boston. My abode was roughly 5 miles from campus.
