Since we have a debate on attending UT, I happen to come across this article.

N.Y. schools among fastest growing Sugar Baby Schools: site - NY Daily News

I am not going to comment on this one.

$64k a year for a frickin' BACHELOR'S degree.

I'd be a better return on investment to buy $256,000 worth of apartments in Nowhere, USA and collect rent.

Hmmmmm, is there a difference between a "Sugar Daddy Warbucks" and a Patron?

Perhaps, probably not, not in the classical sense of the word.

I've had a Patron before and as such, I followed his political examples to a degree. He was my Patron in technical gear, such as diving and marksmanship, and I wouldn't buy on my own from the countries he wouldn't buy from. It just seemed to follow, that I wanted to continue to receive his support, follow his example.

Equally, I'm a Patron to a degree for a young girlfriend....but I don't make any demands on her way through life, not demand she had to follow my political whims. So while I may like feeling like a Patron, it is probably more in name only.

So then we come to the current young in colleges. Is their sponsor a Sugar Daddy or a Patron? I know what the press calls it, but that's the press. So how much does the student understand that for the support, returning the favor in one way or another, may be down the pipe?
