I stumbled onto two scholarships, while checking some out for my own daughter, in a Kaplan's book of scholarships -- tied to two of Ayn Rand's works. One scholarship is available to college students who are asked to write an essay showing they understand the theme(s) in Atlas Shrugged, and the second was specifically for HS students to write, in reference to The Fountainhead.
The scholarship was significant in each category, if you know of a young person who likes literature, Ayn Rand in particular, and writes well. I think the college essay was limited to 1000-1200 words, the HS essay maybe 600-800.
I look the info up again, and cite the specifics. There may have been a website as well.
aw I remember being in High School and wanting to apply for this!
