Only the employer can give you this answer. One of my former employers would allow applicants to turn in the transcript an envelope with an unbroken seal. There were other law enforcement agencies I applied to that required the transcript to be mailed directly from the school.
For financial aid purposes, I believe that 99% or close to that percentage of schools report to the National Student Clearhinghouse. I don't know if this is linked to degree verification; it's definitely linked to enrollment verification.
I meant, am I supposed to pay for this instead of my employer.
