What is everyones view on Concordia University? How would you compare it to National Louis, Cardinal Stritch, etc?

Just wondering where you all went? I am at Concordia, and it appears to be reputable.

Which Concordia...there are several. Your college experience will be what you make of it, study hard, get good grades, get involved and you will be just fine no matter where you go.

I've heard of Concordia. I've never heard of the other two.

There are a bunch of Concordias.

I am from Wisconsin. Cardinal Stritch is not highly regarded. Neither is Concordia U-Wisconsin, for that matter.

Depends on which Concordia you are attending (hopefully NOT the diploma mill!).
Never heard of the other two.

Why is Concordia WI bad? I know someone who recently went thru there and was happy with then quality of education that he received.

Not really. All else being equal, a degree from Carnegie Mellon, MIT, Northwestern, etc. is going to mean a hell of a lot more to a resume-sifting hiring manager than the same degree from Podunk U.

Could you be referring to Concordia in Montreal?

I think that, for most majors, it is going to be less expensive than other Concordias. Taking into account exchange rate, full-freight at Concordia-Montreal ($US14k-16k) would be equivalent, in cost of attendance, to receiving as much as half-tuition in financial aid at Concordia-Wisconsin.

However, it is going to be a bit larger than the US ones (WI, Irvine, Texas, and so on, so forth) as well.

If were talking about landing a job. That's an antiquated line of argument. Most corporations utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) to cull candidates. The ones that get the interviews have demonstrable skills and experience on their resumes. Landing the job from there on out is all about having people skills.
