MBA has a lot more to do with your work exposure and experience. It will be worthless as a new grad w/o any previous management / cost controller experience. The program and learning's will mean very little to someone without work experience and exposure to business strategy decisions.
get a REAL degree and a REAL job before getting an MBA (then get a REAL MBA)
I had to consider between an MBA and an MS in Accounting. My goals are focused around Public Accounting so I chose to enroll in the MS in Accounting. It all depends on your career goals and what you want to get out of your education.
I have a Ph.D in economics. I'd suggest a good regional MBA program because an MS in economics has a lower value. Still, you will be exposed to a lot of statistics and some math.
