Thanks for responding to my threads.
Wish you happy new year. We are in Maryland. As my son a freshman (Physics/Math Major) and completed his 1st semester in UMBC, Maryland, he explored to become Meyerhoff Scholar. He learned that this program was closed for current UMBC students.
I learned other colleges offer scholar enrollment for current students. He want to get into Astrophysics space upon graduation.
He is not able find STEM based scholar programs via your
Scholarships - Financial Aid and Scholarships - UMBC (Scholarship Retriever). He like to add scholar credentials by making good grades in UMBC.
Are there any avenues for incoming freshman to gain UMBC scholar track , I am not sure, why UMBC neglect such opportunities for continuing UMBC students.
What are the pathways available for him to become scholar in UMBC and achieve astrophysics dream?
Thanks for sharing.
