Which would be best for a bio student? U of Ala, U of Ga of Fla State?

Which state do you live in? Which gives the best cost? If Clemson were on your list, I'd say there, but since it's not, toss up between Alabama and Fla State, with UGA third.

Probably UGA because it is a land grant university and has more life science majors.

Well, two of those are real universities and one isn't. Avoid it.

According to USNews, UGA is ranked significantly higher than the other two. FSU is a bit higher than Bama and all three are much higher than Clemson.

Now of course, we know that if Clemson is noted rated highly in an academic field.............then the rankings are hogwash. If Clemson IS ranked highly, the rankings are accurate.

US News has UGA at no. 18 and Clemson at 23 public universities.

It has FSU at 38 and ALabama at 46 public university.

So everything you said above isn't accurate.

i've noticed in this post and previous posts of yours that you have this weird anti-Clemson agenda. You've never attended any of these universities so it doesn't seem like you have independent ability to compare them.

the US News rankings are silly though, they aren't telling you anything about the professors and programs at the universities, or providing salary info on graduates.

In my field, FSU is probably the best of those 4. But none of them is very high. I would look at their rankings across a diversity of fields though. Business, engineering, CS, physics, whatever you're planning on going into. The overall USNews rankings seem pretty useless to me. UGA has the worst football team of the 4.
