This list puts a lot of weight on salary and not so much on job openings. They put international relations, health science, and exercise science on the best list; but, there are less job openings asking for those degrees than there are job openings asking for several of the degrees on the worst list.

I considered getting a health science master's, but the curriculum is not very science-oriented, and there just aren't many jobs asking for that degree. One would be better off with a degree in public health.

They put a nurse practitioner specialty on the best list and a master's in nursing on the worst list. So, I guess they were looking at general MSNs that don't lead to advanced practice licensing.
