Hmmm, though I'm glad to see you recognize there are many myths about the environment (perpetuated by the media and environmental activists), and it seems your survey is designed to expose how widespread such myths are, I have to ask this question: Why is this being done in an ENGLISH class? Was this assigned, or was the topic one you came up with one your own?
I fear that the green agenda is being woven into every possible class and subject in today's educational institutions.

Why? Because it is granola? Just so you know major US corporations, ex-oil barons, and prominent politicians are investing billions of dollars into it. It is going to become big-business very soon; not just hippy stuff.

I know that it's not just hippie stuff. And I do care about us not killing the planet. I don't litter, I recycle, etc.
But there have been HUGE untruths going around about global warming and other environmental issues, and what worries me is that there's too much push to mandate things that have not been proven. The financial costs will be devastating, not only to corporations but to all of us as well. Plus, it is becoming a handy excuse for government to get more and more involved in private affairs and business. It's a slippery slope to global socialism (and that's not an exaggeration).
My point was that I don't like how educational institutions are "greenifying" all their classes that have nothing to do with environmental issues. Sure, discuss this stuff in an ecology class, meteorology, or even macro-economics, but why is it coming up in English class? You'd be surprised at how this agenda (and its accompanying propaganda) is being incorporated into college, high school, and even elementary school classes.
I hear reports every week of kids being forced to watch An Inconvenient Truth in History or Math class, having to write an essay in Spanish for Spanish class on why not to drive SUV's, or having to do an Art project on global warming. It's indoctrination. I'm just glad the OP seems to know that there IS misinformation (and disinformation) out there, and hopefully this survey will help expose it.

Here are my guesses. I have to say that the numbers in questions 6 and 7 mean very little to me. I don't know what is supposed to be a little or a lot. So, again, these are guesses. And, I created my own answer for the last one, because I go to such sites sporadically. It could be multiple times in a week, but then not for months.

I hope your English teacher is evaluating your grasp of the language by the manner in which you have presented these questions.

Another failure of our (presumably public) educational system.
