I polled some current nursing school (R.N.) students about the demands of school nowadays. All said that an associate degree or a 24-month or less program is pretty exhausting, literally. More is crammed into less time, and students are frequently running on less than 5 hrs sleep per night because of all the demands on your time outside of class. Schools have instituted some 12-hour clinical shifts, and many students reported having to write reports and papers and do research for the following day, and they are doing clinicals 7A - 7P, then a wrapup takes 1/2 - 1 hr more, and they have to work until 2AM - 4AM to write up all the carp, then the next 12-hour clinical will start at 7AM.
So, compare those never-ending nursing school days to whatever you'd have to do to complete the requirements for dental hygiene and decide which curriculum works for you.
Dental vs nursing= nursing duhhhhh. If your a rdh in eastern region you can't practice out west.. that sucks. Nursing ca go anywhere in the world. Don't be crazy I'm a nurse(lpn) making 1700 biweekly with all the ot I want. No rdh have flexability like me.a rn rn makes more than me... be smart don't be a retard.......do nursing.....
A nurse must have a license in the state where she works, or in a state that has a compact with the state where she is working.
