For a lot of colleges, Jan 2nd is the due date for their applications.
I just finished off my applications for my MFA in dramaturgy and they're sitting on the counter waiting to get mailed first thing in the morning tomorrow.
Anyone else finish college or grad school applications today? Isn't it a great feeling when they're finally done!
What degree are you going for?
I'm just curious who else is doing this and glad to be done. I was definitely the kid who made my parents drive to the post office at 4:45 the day aps were due for undergrad, but I'm so much more organized this time around.

LOL!
So instead of mailing them at 4:45 pm, you are mailing them at 9am...
and that is "so much more organized this time around"???
Well I had the bulk of it (essays and writing samples) done weeks ago. I wanted to add some information about the Christmas show I did to the last paragraph of my personal statement, and I was waiting on getting my recommendations back. When I did this for undergrad eight years ago, I was starting my essays the day before. I'd say that's an improvement.
I decided not to apply this year for grad school (depending on the school- masters in water policy, environmental policy, public policy/ administration with a focus on environmental issues, geography (with focus on water) or international sustainable development) but I had all of my apps essentially done aside from updated resume, recommendations, and GPA/test scores over the summer.
My daughter got her grad school app into the U of CO on Thurs (e-mail). It was due Jan. 1; she was 1 day ahead of deadline. Amazing for her! She wants to major in genetic counseling.
