top 4 B Schools:
Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM A)
Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta (IIM C) @ Kolkatta
Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIM B)
Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow (IIM L)
It's easier to get into Harvard than these schools.

Through just a little googling, I found a Financial Times ranking of the top business schools internationally. "Indian School of Business" is ranked 15, but this appears to be a different school than those mentioned. Other than that, there are no other Indian business schools in the top 100.
It may be harder to get into those schools because of sheer numbers, but that doesn't make them better. One thing you can do is compare how many students from India apply to Harvard Business vs. how many American students apply to the ones you listed.
Also, it could very well be true that a degree from one of those schools is better if you want to do business in India, but I'd be dubious that they would be the best if you were doing business in the US.
"Indian School of Business" is ranked 15. That's remarkable.
Ranked 15 where? Asia? India? Not in global rankings.
Don't just accept what one Indian MBA tells you. Why don't you post to the academic link that provides rankings to global MBAs.
It may be harder to get in than Harvard.. but India's poulation is 1.139 BILLION while the US 304 MILLION... IIM does not have a lager MBA programme than Harvards so of course there will be a lot more competition to get in.
