Can you go one day without complaining about college? It is getting really old! Just because you couldn't cut it in college doesn't mean you should complain to everyone about any school.

This just shows that any organization can make a mistake.

This guy has to be pretty smart though.

And Frank Abagnale Jr. managed to con his way into being a pilot and a resident at a hospital. Airlines and hospitals are full of garbage as well.

I didn't know that pretending to hold a degree was a crime.

What was he going to do, study astrophysics? At least he had the foresight to realize that while he could BS his way in, he needed to maintain an easy cover to stay in. If he studied anything remotely challenging, he would have been found out. Only a dummy would attempt to study something with rigor after claiming to have attended two prestigious schools -one of which he got perfect grades. What else was he going to study?

Reveals more about the stupidity of the admissions process at "elite" colleges; the clowns in the admissions office tend to be corrupt/inept failed lib arts alums; wasn't the hd of MIT Admissions recently (~5yrs ago) busted for faking her college degrees (claimed to be a PhD from some elite univ but was actually a dropout of some crappy college)? IIRC, the con was hd of MIT's admissions office for ~20+yrs...

And any employer who hires kids w/o diligencing credentials (kinda easy to diligence at elite employers where many younger workers are Stanford/Harvard alums; know the scams; and have own jealousies/favorites vs applicants) is similarly stupid
