I just love going to Manitou Springs and visiting all the little shops! My one stop shop for honey
Many great places already listed on here so, I will add just one more - The Paint Mines Interpretive Park out in Calhan.
Enjoy!

You'll want to stop by Ron Jon's T-shirt Shop and pick up a "I just froze my axx off" T-shirt.

It's right next to our ocean.

I think he was being funny. Though cute idea for a shirt.

Jack Quinn's Pub is pretty awesome. We go down there with friends to see the band Big Paddy play. Great food, too.

And do you run with the Jack Quinn's running club, too?

We're not much for bars or clubs, but a few of hubby's friends from work took us there to see that band and it was a good experience. We last went on the Saturday evening before Halloween. It gets pretty packed in there, but we always make reservations. I've never heard of a Jack Quinn's running club. I'm guessing the PP was being sarcastic. I wish I could have recommended the Pioneer's Museum, but not been there yet. My Colorado History class just went two Fridays ago, but I was in court fighting a pointless traffic ticket so I missed it. Other people mentioned the Cog Railway which is great, but nothing compared to the drive up the Pikes Peak Highway. We've done both. Of course, I'd definitely take the drive up to Rocky Mountain National Park, but that's just me. It takes about 2-3 hours to get there, but it's so worth it - something you need an entire day or two for, imo.

No, I was totally serious - Jack Quinn's running club is a famous running club associated with the pub!

I've never run with them but I've heard they have a large membership.

If you're interested in a little gambling, the drive up to Cripple Creek is nice. (Ute Pass/Highway 24) Takes you to the other side of Pikes Peak. Lots of decent dining options once you're up there. The Cripple Creek Heritage Center above town is a great western history museum - and the views from the museum of Cripple Creek below and the San Juan Mountains in the distance are impressive: Cripple Creek, Colorado | City of Cripple Creek

The town of Victor nearby is an interesting little jaunt as well - beautiful drive, lots of historical buildings, some antique stores (one in a very old theater building), and just a neat little town to walk around in.
