My boss plays in one but he is on vacation. I think he plays at Colorado College??? I won't see him until after next week. I'll ask him then and update the post.
Also, there is a place called Colorado Sports Center (used to be called soc n roll) near Monument (Baptist & I-25). I know there is ice hockey there. Call them or go their web site.

My brother (44 years old) is in one of the adult leagues. I haven't seen him play though but I am pretty sure it's at CC as Charles pointed out. I do know his son's league plays there often.

Red face Hockey Options in CS

[quote=Canuck_in_FL;1061594]

Can anyone tell me any information regarding adult hockey leagues in CS?

How many different leagues? at least three that I know of.
Where? World Arena, Mark Pa Sertich, Colorado College
Cost? 150-300 per session I think
Skill levels? low to average on each team. Colorado College probably the better one.
Websites? Don't know.
Any additional information? Call the World Arena on Venetucci, Sertich, and the college. My sons play for "Hooters" (sponsors)

Thanks

Thanks for the info.
I'm moving to Colorado Springs in April and I'm trying to get the 'important' stuff taken care of before I get there.

Question Hockey Fans?

Im moving to CS in April and am wondering how thick the hockey fan population is. Do bars show games, newspaper columns, or is hockey on the 'backburner' there?

Many bars carry multiple sports channels. My favorite here on the north end of COL SGPS is the All American Sports Cafe, on Voyager Pkwy, midway between North Gate Rd and Interquest Pkwy. Great food, 6 screens in the bar, no smoking. I've seen all sports there, including hockey. Many games are replayed the following day at lunch time, so if you miss one... Not a chain. Food is homemade, burgers and fish sandwich are killers, and the tuna melt is superb. They do a poker event each Wednesday night.
