Big weekly flea market out on E. Platte near Powers.

AFAIK, there are no major annual fleas markets like that one seen on TV where there's an annual yard sale for 300 miles along a certain old highway from OH into KY.

Craigslist is the major source of such sales, or a yahoo list that you have to join, though it's free.

Woodmor, in Monument, has an annual yard sale. I think there were around a 100 homes participating this year. We did it this year with 3 other families at our home. It ran on Friday and Sat. It was so crazy on Friday that we didn't even open for Sat. Sold almost everything. Local kids did a small bake sale and raised over $100 for the National Mill Dog Rescue. Look for it in June

Nope, and the flea market on Platt is okay but it can be kind of trashy.

If you are willing to take an hour's drive down hwy 115 to hwy 50, there is an annual HWY 50 Yard Sale each spring - in mid May I believe.

There are always lots of booths, vendors and regular people selling antiques and stuff along hwy 50 in Canon City. I've picked up some great antuques for dirt-cheap prices during this annual event.

Now I can be talked into something like that! Throw in the fishing gear in the Jeep, camp out on the Arkansas, and buy antiques at the flea market. Also stop in the Hastings store in town to buy some tunes. Yuppirs!
