My best friend's boyfriend is planning on proposing while they are here visiting in the Springs this winter. They have never been to Colorado before (and we haven't been here very long) and he has asked us to help him with selecting a spot with a beautiful view. Can anyone recommend a place? Preferably indoors.

I don't know about inside, but if you go to 7 Falls, that would be pretty awesome. Helen Hunt Falls too. Or do it on the Cog, views gallore! And you will have an audience to applaud the good news.

Inside??? Cheyenne Mountain Resort, maybe somewhere at the Broadmoor, the Sunbird Restaurant.

But really, the best places are outside: Garden of the Gods, there are great places nearly anywhere in the park. Pikes Peak, Cog Rail, or as the previous poster said, 7 falls or Helen Hunt Falls. There are lots of great views from the Zoo, scenic of the city instead of mountains.

Pike's Peak is awesome...just go inside up there if needed. There's also a lot of proposals at the Cadet Chapel at the Air Force Academy...
