Hi!

We are considering moving to the Colorado Springs area this summer (yeah!), but one thing I'm not sure of is the job market for my line of work. Luckily, my husband works from home, so he will be fine.

I am an executive assistant with several years experience. I would like to possibly work with an employment placement agency. Not necessarily a 'temp' agency as I will be looking for a permanent, full-time position.

Can anyone recommend a great recruiting company for executive assistant/administrative assistant type of work?

I'd like to call them and get an idea of the job scene there for me.

Thanks so much!

Default Try WSI

Hi. I just saw your post and thought I'd mention WSI personnel.

WSi Healthcare Personnel - Changing Lives One Person At A Time - WSiJobs.com

I am a medical receptionist and used them to get my job when I lived in CS a few years ago. It says Healthcare Personnel in their title, but I noticed it says on their website that it provides employees to businesses and medical practices, so they may be able to help you out with an admin job.

I had never used a temp/placement agency before. I didn't know what to expect, but everyone I worked with there seemed really nice. They would stop in and check up on me (at the job site) to see if I still liked where I was and to see if I'd recommend the employers to them if they needed to place other people there in the future. I also liked that they placed me in a temp to hire spot first, and I was able to see if the job was a good fit for me as well as for the employers. I also got paid weekly, which was kind of nice, too!

Also, I don't know if you checked into the newspaper there, but they post jobs there, too. It's Colorado Springs News & Information : Colorado Springs Gazette, CO. I think they are affiliated with monster.com.

Good luck on your search! I hope this helped a little.
