Maybe you can help me with something I inquired about months ago. I was and still am interested in the route from COS to Denver before I-25. Perhaps you could add value to this thread????

Default COS Real Estate

Rather than start a new thread I thought I just add pointers to two reasonably good articles which illustrate some ups and some downs of Colorado Springs.

Default Springs is a giving community

I have never been in a community where giving is a way of life. For example, I have run into more people here than anywhere else who do "locks of love" or some other hair donation for cancer patients. I even know a 7 year old boy who is growing his hair. I can now say I have known two young boys who have done it. Adults...probably a dozen.

Additionally, I always run into adults who are volunteering of some kind.

It will be interesting what the news says about the Red Cross because they are already depleted of funds. How many will give at this point in time...will Springs give financially? Springers have always come through on giving as a community...but will they give financially right now?

Newbies...just another look at Colorado Springs- that's all.
