I hear ya, JG. I have no problem using the Colorado Springs airport. The parking is acceptable, I get more direct flights to my destination, its quicker, and I don't have to wait two days or more to have my luggage delivered to me. I can almost guarantee that United will separate myself from my luggage.

This doesn't seem to be an option for MovingtoColorado as I think he is an employee at DIA.

Default DIA driving, parking

One thing you guys forget: Free parking at RapidTransitDist. hubs, like Nine Mile (@ Parker & 225). I use this all the time. You can leave your car there at least 14 days, maybe 30. . . check www.RTD-denver.com.

You just have to check the bus schedule from the hub you're parking at. From NineMile it goes at LEAST once/hr (even after midnite and before 6am) and it takes only 25-45 min., depending on if it is Express or not. Saves big time on parking fees and gas money!!!

The COS airport works well for some destinations but not all, and that includes fares. Sometimes fares are significantly less for flying out of DIA. I always check both airports for fares, and while I LOVE the COS airport, it frequently is more expensive for where I want to go or has connections, while Denver does not.

I also live in Briargate and will agree that it's about 75 minutes via I-25 and then E-470 toll road. That's really with no significant traffic.

I would also rather drive to Denver and fly out of DIA than to fly COS to DIA. The airplane shoots straight up and then straight down and it's almost always turbulent. Only done it once and won't ever do it again.

You can take a Frontier flight to Denver that'll get you there at ~8 PM and it'll cost you $175-200 depending on if you have one or two bags. Pretty pricey for a five-hour wait in the airport.

You can take the Colorado Shuttle, which'll get you there around 7 PM, and costs $50. Cheaper, but that's six hours cooling your heels in the airport.

You can take a taxi, which will get you there with no wait, for around $160-180.

Given these options, I think I might ask sis for a little love.

Default is there a bus from Colorado Springs to Denver Airport?

I need to get from Colorado Springs to Denver Airport on Monday, 1/3. I need to be at airport by 7:00. The only shuttle I can find online doesn't get to Denver until 7:40. Is there a bus?
