No, It's the Prius...

I want to point out to those who complain about parts of CS being "run-down" that we enjoy some of the lowest property taxes in the nation. You don't get it both ways...

Yeah, like mike from back east said, all the crap on Nevada is getting ready to be torn down, for a huge corridor improvement. You aren't the only one complaining about the way it looks proud mommy, but like everyone says, every city has it's bad part, including mine. The ENTIRE west side of my city is crumbling, and looks 20 times worse than any neighborhood in COS. But you know what? I DON"T GO THERE. Nuff said.

I personally don't know of any liberals with children But almost every conservative I know does have children.

Being a decent, honest, ethical, caring human is not exclusive to any particular religion or political leaning. A decent person is a decent person, no matter what language they speak, color, race, religion or whatever. I think the odds of raising a decent child are increased if the parent is decent. Being liberal or conservative has little to do with it.

I wish we would get away from this left and right labeling of each other. Almost all of the decent people I know are a blend of many different political and religious views. It's hard to label them because they are all over the map. I see no need to label them either. What would be the point of doing that?

Well, the pay in Colorado Springs doesn't compare to SoCal. I can tell you that for an office position, (admin., secretary, manager), you could be looking at $30,000 or a little higher. Not by much. Recently, our home prices have gone up a lot. Nine months out of the year it's cold. Sometimes on nice days, when the sun is out, the wind is fast that you feel like it's 20 degrees.
Someone else asked about what negatives you were thinking of, I think that is a good question.
Hope some of this helps

OK, which one is higher and which one is lower?

I can tell you that for an office position, (admin., secretary, manager), you could be looking at $30,000 or a little higher.

Where? It isn't clear.

Not by much.

What does "Not by much" mean?

Recently, our home prices have gone up a lot.

Where in California or Colorado? It isn't clear.
