Who gives a rat's tail about the negatives? No one. Colorado Springs is an amazing town, sure I could list some things right off my mind, but I don't care about them.

Thank you sir! my sentiments exactly. I love to hear people complain. You should see where I live now. It's such a small town, that they held a PARADE, when we got a Walmart. I'm dead serious. You have to drive 45 minutes to an hour just to find a mall to buy anything. There are exactly 3 car dealerships, and guess what they are? Ford, Dodge, and Chevy. And all 3 of them could fit in the Phil long expo center. You can get anywhere in the city in 10 minutes. (which I guess is the only positive) And the people here are so backwoods, that the local grocery store, uses the upstairs attic as a gun store. In the grocery store, there's canned soup on one shelf, and ammunition on the other. And lets not forget, that the people in the store, rode their ATV's or snowmobiles to the store. (which is legal, and it's a city, not a township)

Thank goodness you've escaped Ohio! I live about 1 mile from the Chapel Hills Saturn dealer. That's a very nice area.

I'll be interested to hear you compare Colorado with Ohio as you move into your new life here.

What amazes me about places like Ohio is that very few people have the guts to leave. Gotta take Action to improve your life. Looks like you figured that out!

Welcome to Colorado!

Yeah, i'm not the type to sit around and complain about my life. If there's something I don't like, I change it.

Immediatley. Or as soon as possible.

I'm sacrificing alot to come out there. I had to sell most of my possesions so I could make it out there. Now I have to buy all new furniture, and appliances.

Check out the Goodwill on near Academy/Briargate/I-25 there. I bought a ton of clothes: slacks, dress shirts, soccer cleats, sweaters, all for like $4.50 each and most of them seemed like they were either never worn or worn once or twice. I noticed other "stuff" there, sort of appliances, furniture, light fixtures, tables, toys, sports stuff, etc.

Hey thanks Charles. I might just have to do that. Although, I haven't sold my nice suede micofiber couches, so they might come with me.

I'd really hate to get rid of those, and it really sucks that I have to sell all my nice Kenmore appliances. They're sort of sentimental to me, cause it's all the stuff I got in MY divorce.

Did you notice if they had computer stuff there? Goodwill has a computer store in San Antonio where you can pickup older, used, cheaper stuff. This is one of the few (very few) things SA has better than COS. I'd love to find something similar around here.
