Okay, folks...lay it on me!

My little girl (8 years old), dogs, horse and I are looking to relocate to Colorado Springs.

We recently moved to middle TN for a job offer that fell through upon our arrival (originally from NJ). I haven't been able to find any type of steady work here for six months, and feel that its time to move on.

I have my own company and plan to subcontract until I get my business up and running. I am a professional animal behaviorist/author and work with dogs and horses---I also do life coaching and incorporate this to educate kids about both.

I'd like to hear from everyone the good, the bad, and the ugly (or fabulous!) that we should know about living in/near Colorado Springs so that I can make an educated decision.

Thanks in advance!!

You might want to look into the area @ Parker. Or farther north - Longmont, you want access to the moneyed folks.

Agree, the bigger money is in the Denver Metro Area (DMA). Parker has the Colorado Horse Park, a good-sized center. Here's a thread listing most of the ones in that region. The region is full of dog lovers, but the spenders are in the DMA.
