I moved here with a ton of paperback books of many different genre, and was wondering if anyone can recommend a used bookstore that does trade-in credit? Most of my books are romance, paranormal romance, sci-fi, fantasy, suspense, mystery...etc.

I would appreciate any advice anyone can give.

Thanks,

Mary

Well the one downtown by Acacia Park used to, but I don't know if they still do. Maybe the one up by Palmer Park (Academy and Maizeland) used to, as well. The first has changed names several times - it was Four Corners, then Gateway and now something with a B I think. I think the other one is called Book Nook or something like that. Personally, I've been using paperbackswap.com for trading books.

You can always donate them to the library, take the tax deduction, and have a feel good moment.

The "Bookman" (on the south side of Colorado Blvd. at roughly 32nd or 33rd Street) is the best place we've found for what you describe.

Research "The Bookman" ... it's a used bookstore that's been on the westside of CS for a long time.

Oops ... what they said.
