Hello, I'm going to be relocating to Colorado Springs for my job around August 1st and am looking to find a place to live. I have been looking on various websites but would like some of your opinions/input.

I would like to rent a house or townhouse. If any of you know of any apartment complexes that have attached garages, I would also consider that too.

Here are my requirements:
At least 2 bedrooms, 1 bath (I'm single but like to have an office)
Attached garage (2 stall is preferred) - I have quite a bit of camping stuff and tools that I need to store/use on a regular basis.
Deck/Patio that I can use my grill on
Good neighborhood - My office will be near Garden Of The Gods. I don't mind a small commute and from what I've read, you're basically never more than 30 minutes away from anything in CS.
Air Conditioning
Full sized Washer/Dryer hook-ups (not stackable)
Allows cats
I'd also prefer the rent to be sub $900 a month but if the place is right, I'd consider paying more.

I'm planning on visiting Colorado Springs in the next month or so to try and choose a place to live and get that all squared away. I'd like to have several places lined up to look at over a few days.

Maybe someone here knows of a "rental agent" in the area?

I appreciate your input and look forward to your responses.

Try padmapper.com to find rentals of all sorts, it has a map-based feature that allows you to zoom in on your specific area.

Also try the local MLS site, ppar.com as it also does rentals with a map-based search tool.

Thank you Mike. I didn't realize that ppar.com had rentals on the site too.
