Uh oh. I want to change my vote from Channel 5 to Channel 13.

The Daugherty Siblings coverage was claimed by both Channel 5 and Channel 11 as being "FIRST".

Shame on one of them for lying and shame on both of them for the vanity.

One of the reasons I like Channel 13 better is because I listen to them on the radio rather than watch on TV - they have more options for tuning in, more info on traffic, etc.

What a disaster 5 News had this morning.

Near the end, they were switching over to Georgianne and we get two frozen frames of her with no audio... then Adam comes on saying she prerecords her sessions??

Then the news segment ends and the Today Show begins.

I don't know if I'm describing what I just saw correctly, but what a train wreck that was!

Currently, it's 13, but it is annoying me. I have only been watching since my laptop got stolen. I currently can't get 11, but maybe I should try 5.

Sorry about your laptop. Who steals a laptop?

Anyway, I'm starting to like that channel 21 more and more now... more professionalism and less smoke and mirrors.

I didn't realize that Georgianne ... the Greek gal... recently had a baby and that would explain her seemingly haywire emotions and stuff. I hope she hangs in there. She's a nice lady. I wonder if she lives in Springs or in the Pueblo area. Which one film here and which ones there? I don't recall.

Most all the newscasters in this city are hard to take seriously.
They have this stone cold, dead serious look all too often OR they try to make us think they are cool by joking around or something and it's really awkward to watch.

Same with the Gazette. All the headline fonts are the same ALL CAPS OVER DRAMATIZED.
It will say something like: MAN CHARGED WITH MURDER.
Then it will say LOCAL GIRL SCOUTS SHOW MORE THAN JUST SPIRIT.
You go to the sports section and there it is: FALCONS RALLY BUT TOO LITTLE, TOO LATE.

Look for yourself, the headline fonts are ALL CAPS, all the same, all the time, and it makes it so...so...I don't really know.

The newscasters have that same overly dramatic look too often, as if this is supposed to be some crime free paradise and they are so shocked when someone commits a crime.

Denver wallops the Springs in terms of news, newspapers, and radio too.
