Resurrecting this thread.

Just moved here and can not wait for winter! We have a small fireplace in our one bedroom apartment. I'm wanting to stock up now on firewood just to get it out of the way and hoping it might be a little cheaper. I'm looking for a place that sells 1/8 cords or bundles for cheaper than the store. Our Jetta has a 15.5 ci trunk which is the same size as 1/8 cord. I could maybe get away with taking two cars or two trips to buy a 1/4 if necessary. The only place I have found so far that will sell this small of an amount is in Parker which wouldn't be too bad since I have family I visit up there every once in awhile. Anybody know of any local places? I haven't had good luck on craigslist so far. Mostly full cords which is way too much for a 1 bedroom apartment!

I see free firewood every day on craigslist. There is also a free hot tub almost every day.
