Default neighborhoods

I have asked some questions about other parts of Denver but we are looking into CS too. The problem is, when I have been there, the neighborhoods are so spread apart that is seems like the are subcities within a city. This is not a bad thing it is just that i have no idea how to begin to research this.

We are looking for a "charming" area. I would love to be on a lake but at least have wonderful views in a not too crowded neighborhood. I spent some time in one that had a golf course, own clubhouse with rest, bar, gym, etc. and the houses were nicely spaced. We do want to be near enough to restuarants, shopping, etc but not on top of it -- 5-15 min drive is ok.

Knowing that CS is pretty conservative, we would need to lean towards a less conservative area.

Any suggestions?

Being that you're looking for "less conservative" as well as "charming" I would most definitely suggest the Westside, Manitou Springs, Downtown and Old North End.

How big of a home are looking for? Are you wanting to buy or rent? [cut]

Cheers,

Joel
