Originally from TX, but moved to CO at age 9...now back in TX, which is fun because I finally get to brag incessantly about the wonders of Colorado to anyone who will listen!

My father was in the oil business in Houston, but got so sick of the weather and the rat race that he quit his job, threw us in a truck and hauled us to Woodland Park, never looking back. So thankful I got to grow up in COS and not HOU!!

My wife and I moved 6 months ago and are already plotting our inevitable return to CO

I was born and raised in Canada... lived in small remote towns and large cities such as Toronto and Vancouver.

Moved to Denver about a decade ago, lived in Littleton, Golden, then moved to Canon City where I am now.

I travel around Colorado a great deal for work and for fun. Which is funny because I have friends who were born and raised in Colorado and they always ask ME what it is like in Craig, or Durango, or Fairplay, etc. They have never been to these places themselves.

I always tell them, never mind flying to a sun destination, why not travel around Colorado - it's such a great state!!

I am originally from Dallas, Texas. Lived there my whole life. Even most of my 20 year military career was spent in Texas (not planned BTW). The first time I visited Colorado was in 1973. I was 10 and we went skiing. My Uncle also lived in CS at that time. I swore way back then that I would move to Colorado permanently one day. It took me until the year 2000, but I made the dream come true. I love it here and have no intention of leaving.

Originally from Connecticut, but moved to CA as a child. Grew up in San Diego and went to college there. Spent my time in the Air Force in Denver, then back to CA, then to Alaska and then to NoVA. Finally made it back to Colorado a year ago, and have no intention of leaving.

HI>CA>AZ>TX>AZ>CA>Monument. As much as we love it here, we might end up back in AZ. It'd be closer to family and easier on my rikity old bones.

I was born in Ann Arbor, MI. Lived in MI till I was 5. Moved to IL and lived in Arlington Heights till I was 12. Dad transferred again to NYC, and we lived in Westport, CT until I went to college for two years in RI. Dad's entire company headquarters transferred to Denver in 1972; moved there after sophomore year, finished up college at Boulder. In 1975, moved to Divide with new hubby and in 1983 he started a law practice in Woodland Park. Lived in Divide, raised four kids, until hubby died in 2009. Then, being empty nested, moved to our Colorado Rockie's condo in Tucson and sold the home (but kept lots of land) in Divide. Was just back there two weeks ago. Also have a condo and family in Denver....

Born in Wyoming, moved to Chicago, then Maryland, then finished out my schooling in Texas, and have lived here most of my adult life (if you count post-college as an adult life, and not during college) for over ten years now.

I made a big circle
