Can anyone out there recommend a really good dog boarding facility or kennel in COS? Thanks in advance

I used these this place a few years ago, but this is the ONLY time I have ever boarded my dog as I don't travel often without her. They seemed to be ok, treated my dog well. I went there beforehand and took a tour and asked them questions to make sure it was what I wanted and that my dog would be ok there. If I had to board my dog again, I would use them for sure.

The petsmart pet hotel is pretty good on North Academy. They also have a coupon on the website for first time customers, buy one night get two free. Our two dogs seemed to love it there when we boarded them between christmas and new year.

I've used the PetSmart Hotel on N. Academy and here in Tucson. The care is good, they're very attentive to your dog or cat, you can bring your own dog food, dog toys, dog bed, etc. They have doggie day camp where the dogs can socialize, grooming, and lots of fun perks for the pets. You'll even get a Pawgress Report telling you how your dog ate, slept, played, etc.

We have used Camp Bow Wow in Monument and been very pleased. But they are kinda costly (we have 2 dogs). We switched to Central Bark on Nevada Ave and our dogs love it there.

It varies by location, but I've paid about $48.00 a night. Then, if you do doggie day camp, it's another $20.00 per session, and grooming is about $60.00 for the whole shebang. They also have suites, and regular rooms for the dogs. I think my last bill for 6 days was about $260.00 at the one in Tucson over Thanksgiving, when we flew home to Divide for the holidays. That was 5 nights, 3 doggie day cares, and 1 ultra grooming. The dogs also have to be current on their bordetella vaccination. In CO they're only required once a year (or were, might have changed) and here they're required every six months.

This is another Boarding service that's priced about the same as PetSmart PetsHotel. There are two in COS. I've never used them, but I've heard nice things about them.

I have never used Camp Bow Wow before but if you are looking for a good deal you can go to halfoffdeals.com and buy a $50 gift certificate for $25 for Camp Bow Wow. It can be used at either location in the springs and is good for boarding or the doggie day camp.

Lucky Dog on Mark Dabling off Garden of the Gods Rd. is another great option. I've taken my dog there for years for both boarding and training. Plus, they have play group time with other dogs.
