There are now 10 and growing in the DFW area. None in Denver. What's up with that?

Folks say it's because they don't have a distribution scheme for an isolated city like Denver, i.e., no other major cities within 500 miles.

Denver official's push to attract In-N-Out Burger generates plenty of sizzle - The Denver Post

This is a story about a Denver City council member is trying to attract In n Out to Denver. As for me, I'm working in Prescott, AZ next week and will get my fill while I'm there.

Or, if you want to take a drive up to Woodland Park, The Ute Inn has THE best burgers of anywhere (okay, In and Out burgers here in Tucson are the VERY best) and in a really rustic luncheonette/bar atmosphere. Love the Ute Burger!! The Ute Inn is a Woodland Park classic.

Quality of meat is very important to me, so I can only recommend Cy's and Drifter's so far. And McCabe's, and Milt's and the North End Diner.

If you want to make a little side trip to Manitou Springs, The Keg has really great burgers ... the bleu cheese burger being one of my favorites. Yum. Plus you get to see our charming little "burg".

In-n-Out has a company policy that its restaurants be within a one-day drive of their meat processing and distribution center. Right now their only such facility is in southern California.

They're building another one in Texas soon, which may put Colorado within range.
