I like King Chef downtown on Nevada and Kiowa. Their burgers are great and so is their breakfast!

Smashburger....North Nevada...next to Local's Barbershop...(Costco shopping center). There's one closer to me, off Carefree, but I was gettin' my "hur' did" at Locals.

Thought I would hate it, but I had a BBQ cheddar burger with grilled onions...and sweet potato fries.....man, that was good; was pleasantly surprised.

I like the burgers at Gunther Toody's. There's one at Powers and Woodmen, and another on Powers, just North of Palmer Park. Fifties-style diner vibe. Real shakes and malts. Great stuff.

Drifters is great. Funny, as I'm not a fan of In N Out (especially their fries). Drifters does much better on their fries, and the burger is better as well. Kudos for using regional-local Callicrate beef (I know Cy's does too, and I've been meaning to try them). I'd just as soon not see another chain (In N Out) come in to the city.

As far as chain burgers, Culver's blows everything else in its price range out of the water. Very good. Five guys is good, too, fantastic fries, but not really worth the primo price over Culver's. Didn't care for Smashburger, really.

More high-end, Margarita at Pine Creek makes fantastic burgers, the best I've had in town. You can get them in the summer off their patio menu. I imagine off the bar menu downstairs the rest of the time.
