1. Which "sub-urb" of Colorado Springs NEEDS the most development?
A: Hard to say, there's a lot out there, both good and bad; American cities have too many stores and duplication as it is. A good deal of the main city is old and in need of RE-development, both homes and businesses. The Powers corridor, south of Dublin, is loaded with development and doesn't seem to need much more. The area of Glen Eagle and/or Flying Horse seems rather underserved and folks have to drive several miles to either Monument or Briargate for eats and shopping. Perhaps out east in Falcon / Peyton they need more development, I hope someone addresses that.

2. Where would a small business, of any type, be the most successful in Colorado Springs?
A: Could be anywhere really. Areas that NOW seem rather successful are Old Colorado City, Manitou Springs, Southgate, Powers Blvd (Dublin to Galley), Academy Blvd north of Woodmen, Shops at Briargate, maybe others. The newish University Village on N. Nevada above Fillmore seems it might be a good opportunity given that it's right off I-25 from the north and the main city from the south, and the east-west crossroad effect provided by both Fillmore and Austin Bluffs; the more places stuffed into that venue adds to the critical mass that will make it wildly popular.

3. Which is more appealing to COS residents: small, unique food option -OR- place where families and children can "hang out" after school?
A: For us, it's a small unique food place. I'd guess that few adults want to hang out with school kids and vice versa.

4. What price are you willing to pay for your lunch?
A: About $7-10. Not looking for huge meals; am looking for healthy, smart, flavorful, even unique.

5. What price are you willing to pay for entertainment / children's entertainment?
A: Define entertainment. I'll pay the going price for first-rate shows at Pikes Peak Center and World Arena. Also enjoy shows at UCCS-Theaterworks and the occasional burlesque at Stargazers. But we don't go to bars for bar bands and we don't do kiddie places.

6. Are after school programs highly desired? What makes a good after school program?
A: No idea.
