I'm aware verizon has 4glte service all around the springs, but how does sprint fare? (I understand their coverage map is never up to date, I'd ideally prefer sprint due to their pricing, this would be my first time getting a data plan)

I can't speak for the Sprint 4G side, but I thought it important to mention that we switched my wife's phone to Boost (which uses sprint) and her coverage is much better than it used to be with Sprint only 3 years ago. That gives me hope that the 4G is relatively good. Her phone is a 3G device and speeds are good, even when bars are under 3-4 (average of about 2 at home)

I haven't heard many horror stories out here for Sprint's 4G compared to AT&T's. I myself have Verizon (HTC Rezound) and my 4G LTE speeds are adequate, even at home.
