I'm responsible for putting together a charity event next month, with proceeds going to breast cancer research/awareness. I have done similar event planning in the past, but i'm kind of freaking out because I only have about a month to gather donations which will be used for things like door prizes, and silent auction.

I have only been in the Springs about 6 months, so I do not yet have the contacts here that would be helpful in soliciting such community support.

My question is: does anyone know of any companies, organizations, or individuals that I should be targeting for donations? I'm mainly looking for gift certificates, or products which average about $50.

TIA!

I suggest looking at local restaurants. Local places may be willing to give a couple things here and there as well....

A suggestion may be to call local churches who do Silent Auctions and ask them for some advice.
