take I-40 to alberqurque hook on I-25 or go up I-35 to I-70 to denver, please advise, also I will be making this trip on the 19th and 20th of DEC.thanks for your help

The southerly route, I-40, will assure you freedom from almost any/all winter weather.

It's kinda hard to decide between the boredom of West Texas and the boredom of Kansas. =)

I've driven both and neither is fun. But definitely come up from the South in winter.
